Second Victim of Marrying Millions Star Bill Hutchinson Comes Forward
The victim, who videotaped part of her attack, can be heard telling the recently arrested Virgin Hotels owner, “Get off of me” as Hutchinson asks, “Are you a virgin?”
DALLAS, July 9 – On the heels of his arrest for rape, Marrying Millions reality show star and Virgin Hotels Dallas owner Bill Hutchinson has been sued for assaulting a second young woman, who came to him seeking employment and professional mentorship.
The 63-year-old Hutchinson, who was arrested July 8 for sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl, is now facing a legal action brought by a second female victim. The young woman, a college student, sent her résumé to the well-known real estate magnate as part of a job search and request for career advice. Hutchinson offered to meet with the student for what she had hoped would become a job or internship opportunity, but instead turned into an assault after he plied her with alcohol and took her to an apartment, where she attempted to fight him off. The young student began recording with her phone as part of her effort to thwart the attack. The recording, as well as her job-seeking emails, will be entered into evidence in the case against Hutchinson.
After learning of Hutchinson’s arrest for rape, the college student, who had already hired national women’s rights attorney Michelle Simpson Tuegel and trial attorney Jonathan Zendeh Del, decided it was time for other victims of Hutchinson to hear her voice.
“It’s now clear to me and to the whole world that Bill Hutchinson has attacked multiple women,” the victim, identified only as Jane Doe, said. “I hope other women who have suffered like me will help each other, and we all band together and hold him accountable for being what he is: a sexual predator.”
“Hutchinson assaulted our client while she was intoxicated, although she clearly rejected Hutchinson’s advances both in messages and in person,” Simpson Tuegel said.
“He ignored our client’s clear communications and exploited a vulnerable young woman seeking professional guidance. Instead, he liquored her up and forced himself on her,” Zendeh Del added.
“We know there are other young survivors of Bill Hutchinson’s grotesque conduct, and we encourage you to reach out and report him,” Simpson Tuegel said. “He must be held accountable for every single one of his criminal acts. You deserve a life free of sexual violence and harassment, but Bill Hutchinson does not deserve to have his reprehensible conduct be kept a secret.”
